Fear Of Loss

Recently, I had a dream. In this dream, I accidentally dropped a spare short in a river. This short descended into the bottom of the river. I lowered myself to retrieve the short and was surprised to feel the bottom of the river but cannot feel the short. I also lost my spectacle in the way. I had this feeling that a crocodile or many crocodiles could mount on this opportunity to attack me when I was in the midst of scooping the short or spectacles from the river. I awoke from the dream shortly and realised that it was not real.

The above-mentioned dream taught me something. It is the fear of loss. The more one fear of more loss, the more likely it will occur. I adopt the minimalist approach and advocate not owning things. I believe that such approach will make me feel better and more fulfilled in life. I go for life experiencing and enjoy every moment of my life.

Valuable lesson learnt.
