Arising from yesterday’s post, I am of view that it is not worthwhile to slog for the employer at the expense of health. If one is down with illness, the employer will not care for one and can easily replace with ready-made options which cost lesser to recruit. Since the employer is not inclined to assist one who is in time of needs, one should place oneself as his/her top priority and make the decision based on her well-being. In my view, employment is about one exchanging own time in delivering done work in exchange for the remuneration in the form of money. One will work for money in the initial stage and the saved money from the employment will work for one in the form of continuous dividend for a lifetime generated by the investment portfolio which are made up of the saved money.
One should let the money work for one regardless of one working or sleeping in a continuous basis of 24 hours a day, 31 days a month and 12 months a year.
