HDB Flat – Buy Or Rent

A lot of people have the impression of the Housing Development Board (“HDB”) flats as their own property. The HDB flats are considered as lease property in which the Government has the right to take back the property after 99 years of lease. People still hanker hopes that they will make the profits on the HDB flats. I do not consider HDB flat as a property and hence I rent instead of buy HDB flat. I know that I will be able to relocate easily without hassle. Life should be flexible and one should adapt accordingly to the everchanging environment
