Emergency Fund

I come across a blog comment which mentions that there is one person who indicates that he/she accumulates 84 months of expenses for his/her emergency fund. Most of the bloggers and readers come to the general “common” understanding that the emergency fund should include six to 24 months of expenses or remuneration. In my opinion, I feel that it is up to the individual’s preference to set his/her emergency stash to his/her preference. There is no right or wrong answer to the month of expense. I feel that it is up to the individual’s comfort level.
