Whenever I go out with the co-workers for the dinner after the work, it appears that the topics in which we discuss during the dinner, cannot be separated from the work-related topics. I am more interested in engaging in conversation which relates other topics apart from the work-related matters. It appears to be an uphill task to start an interesting conversation on such topics. I am more interested in starting the conversation on English football. However, there are instances in which such topics might not up to the liking to the co-workers.
The above situation has set me wondering whether it is appropriate to root in the co-worker in the FIRE conversation. There are pros and cons in going towards such directions given that the co-workers might not be interested in such topics.
