True Meaning Of Vacations

Vacations are considered as a break from work. This is applicable for people who hold a full-time job. I have seen people trying to squeeze all the details into the vacations schedule. This makes me wonder whether it is worthwhile to do so. I personally feel that it is very tiring to have so many schedules for a day. There will be instances in which the schedule cannot proceed as schedule due to unforeseeable circumstance. This may end up impacting the subsequent schedules in which the locations may be many miles apart.

Based on the above circumstances, I am of view that it is more appropriate to take it easy in the vacation. I can understand why people wanted to squeeze as many schedules in his/her itinerary. This is to make best use of the opportunities in exploring the countries of visits. I am not so sure that self-boast also play a part in such behaviour patterns. Some may want to boast to his/her co-workers/friends that he/she has been in such places. An example is the Northern Lights which has been a buzz over the past few years in which such scenes may be not be available in the coming years due to the climate change.

I no longer have such desire in having the packed schedule for vacations. In my opinion, I start to view the vacations as the time for relaxation. Having a too tight schedule will make me more tired and considering that one will have to resume working after the vacations. The exhausted self will make it seem strange in the return to  the work rather than being recharged for the occasion.
