Elimination Of Undesirable Urge

There are some tendencies for me to go the facebook to check on the status of my friends. However, I managed to refrain myself from doing so. These are some sorts like drug addiction in which I know that I will manage to stop the crave for such updates as long as I do not go back to the facebook to check on the status. This is the way of self-control and I believe that this will test my resiliency.

I recall many years back in which I cancelled the subscription of English Football coverage on the cable TV sometimes in 2010. I managed to carve the urge of watching the football on TV.  This is due to the exorbitant charges imposed by the cable TV retailers. The cost of watching football is getting more and more ridiculous at the present moment. The details are evident as below:

My adopted way of stopping the carve for football watching proves to be a right decision for me. I no longer spend the time watching the TV and time is well spent on other useful things which is aligned to my interest. Writing the daily post on this blog is one such thing.

There is no regret on my decision. The reason of me refraining from the facebook is to reduce the time spent checking on the status of my friend which is the circle of concern. It is advisable to focus on the circle of influence in which I have control on.
