Cable to Fibre TV

I still have the cable TV. The company providing such services, recently updated by writing that they will be ceasing the TV on the cable with effect from 30 June 2018 and directed the subscribers to arrange with the company to switch to Fibre TV. They stated in the letter that there will be no incremental cost with the migration from Cable to Fibre TV. They mentioned that they will have the Welcome Pack in which will help the subscribers to save over $1,500. I note that the existing plan in which I subscribe to, are not longer existent with the migration to Fibre TV. High costlier subscription fee are imposed with no notification from the company. This is the way in which the company makes money. The company only notifies the good news with the hidden cost incurred in the process without the acute realisation of the subscriber. I am not going to embark on the Fibre TV and stop the Cable TV latest by 30 June 2019 (last date of Cable TV) or earlier. This is the way in which the company holds the subscribers into ransom. It’s too bad that there are still many other subscribers who believe in the promotion.

To each of their own.
