Unpredictability Of Life

The FIRE journey is full of surprise and insights given that one is willing to interact with the fellow bloggers. This will give one a different perspective as per said. There are instances in which I come across a blog stating that the couple only realised that they no longer have to work after both of them have been retrenched from their full-time employment. They made a calculation and realised  that they have enough stash to last them for the entire lifetime. They retired from the corporate world at the age of 43 and 44 respectively in 2014.

I also read blog in which the blogger tend to be inclined towards working one more year to enhance their retirement stash. This is also known as “One More Year” syndrome. This is nothing wrong with such approach. However, there is a possibility in which the inevitable incident such as accident or illness may occur. This will make one feel whether it is worthwhile to wait one or few years before making the exit from the corporate world. Life is full of unpredictable event. One will not know what happen tomorrow. This will make one having delimann on whether to make a decision. I guess that this is the way how life happens.
