Currying Favour

It is the common unsaid circumstance in which one is unlikely to get promotion if he/she focuses on doing his/her designated work and not doing some sort of currying favour with the management. I agree with such circumstance. I am one of such person who focuses on doing the work and do not make an attempt to create an impression in the eye of the management. This is the way in which I prefer to work and reflect the true me at the work. I am aware that such approach will cost me the likely promotion. However, it does not matter to me. I overcome such unfavourable circumstance by changing job every few years. Changing jobs will increase my income and replace such deficiency in not opting for the approach of currying favour with the organisation management.
