I am not an elite in term of study, national service and soon-to-end full-time employment. I am just a simple peasant with a simple lifestyle. I deviate from the usual life cycle and routine – born, study, national service, full-time employment, get married, have children and retirement at 70 or 80 or maybe till the day of death. I feel that it is not worthwhile to follow such planned route like the majority follow. I do not believe in such way in which life is led.
This leads to major ostracising views by the majority of the people in the country of my residence. I do not care on their views. This is the life which I want to be and I am very happy leading such lifestyle. Such views are seemed that I have committed a crime for not following the usual routine and sentenced to life’s imprisonment. The contemplation is indeed dampening to the extent of being an outcast of the society in which I am currently in.
I do not give any care on such views. I continue with my lifestyle and work about making the best enjoyments based on the existing resources which I have at my disposal.
