Life Appreciation

I read with interest on the blog on the lifestyle of the employees working on the cruise.  The employees of the cruise spend an average of eight months away from their families. They will spend time with their families for a few months. They work 12 hours a day and seven days a week. This goes to show that I am much more lucky than them. I used to work late in the weekday. However, I got to talk to my family members daily. I talked to my family members late in the night during the full-time employment. This has allowed me to appreciate my life more than usual.

I also know that there are people who live in Africa. They mostly live in a hut made of tree branches and scrap woods. Most of them are sitting in the darkness with the door wide open in the hot weather.

The above circumstance encountered by people from other areas of the world gives me some form of thoughts. I feel that I am lucky in respect of my living condition. Life is short and enjoy the moments.
