Art Of Doing Nothing

The word of “Doing Nothing” is a taboo in the place of my current residence. It is reported that people in my place of residence work 168 hours per week. This is inclusive of the messages by the bosses during the leisure time. The thought of 24 hours on the standby for the job, really irks me to great extent.  I feel that this is totally uncalled for. I do not want to be in such circumstance in which life is totally meaningless based on the work on a total basis. I do not want to be in the position in which it is all about work at the end of the life.

The above circumstance attests that I made the right decision in quitting the rat race in my 40s. Money can be earned at any point of time. Life is irreversible. It makes more sense for one to live the way in his/her preference. I feel that this is the way in which life should be lived and enjoyed to the maximum.
