Side Hustle

There are many ways to earn side hustle. One possible way is through blogging. The interesting part of FIRE is that one does not have to earn much if he/she decides to quit the rat race but yet to achieve 100% FIRE. Such circumstance can be mitigated through reducing the expense, thereby reducing the amount of the investment portfolio and increasing the FIRE percentage.

I have the time at my end with the assumption of having the long life till the ripe old age of 100. I also take into consideration of the immobility which is unavoidable in old age. Therefore, I can do some part-time activities which will enable me to earn some form of income. I have an existing valid taxi-driver and private hire car vocational licence. I can earn some form of income through such channel. I am more inclined towards taking private hire car as it will allow me some form of flexibility. I can do part-time tuition at the same time. One student per day during the weekday is fine for me. One student will take me two hours per day and I think that such schedule will occupy the day during the weekday.

Based on the two above-mentioned side hustles, I believe that I will be able to generate about $2,000 per month. I can stop driving whenever I am tired. Five tuitions (10 days in total) per week is fine with me. This will enable me to keep abreast of the existing knowledge with me transferring my information to the students and at the same time gain valuable information through interaction with the student.
