Fulfilment In Retirement

The word of fulfilment recently gives me a deep fruit of thoughts. This give rises on finding fulfilment in retirement. People will not talk about more money on their deathbed. Money is a tool and there is nothing more.  It does not seem to appear that way because that would be ignoring the concept of ego. Ego is a touchy subject for many people because nobody wants to be labelled as egotistical. Instead, one re-label want as needs and material things as fulfilling to somehow justify one’s feelings.

Society pressure pressures one to want more. What can one do to find true fulfilment in spite of societal influence? I am of view that one’s goal for retirement should not be about having more stuff. Instead, it should be finding fulfilment in one’s daily life.
