Shorter Runway

I mentioned in my previous post that one (ordinary folks) will reach the peak of his/her career at age 45 at the prevailing circumstance. It is very likely for the peak will be at age 40 in the years to come. The runway is getting shorter. One will have to be prepared for such circumstance and adopt the appropriate strategy accordingly. This stresses the importance of FIRE. One will have to rely on the passive income from the investment portfolio and depend less on the active income from the full-time employment. One can consider trying some side hustles to generate some of the income. Blogging is one such avenue. I have yet to monetise this blog and do not rule out the possibility of doing so in the foreseeable future. This blog could be another form of passive income. Tuition and private hire car driving are other possible of income. However, these two avenues will be explored provided I have sufficient time. I will not go beyond the sufficient time to earn income through such avenue. These two avenues will be explored for my personal interest and experience.
