Power Of Investment Portfolio

One of the marvellous things about dividends is that one does not work in order to receive the dividend.  The small ownership in the various listed companies goes to great extent of creating an investment portfolio which generates the dividends on a continuous basis. Such feeling is great and one does not have to render any effort to obtain the generated dividends. The dividends may come in half-year, quarterly etc. This will free one to do the things which he/she likes to do. If there is no interest in the things, one can continue working in the full-time employment and holds the absolute bargaining power. He/she has the option of quitting the full-time employment at any point of time if the work conditions worsen. One will not be afraid of retrenchment. He/she can also adopt the job-hopping approach in the pursuit of higher remuneration or interest. The income from the full-time employment can be channelled to the already established investment portfolio which will generate more dividends for one. I believe that the amount of the generated dividend will be of secondary concern as per my perspective. It is the feeling of holding the absolute advantage over the corporate overlords and living the life on his/her terms.
