Flexible Approach In FIRE

I made the research on the investment portfolio which currently generates the dividends. The dividends cover my expenses. There is the reason which gives me the assurance of quitting from the full time employment a few months back. I also understand that there are instances in which an illness and unfortunable event will wipe off the significant amount of the investment portfolio. However, one cannot cover all scenarios and I feel that it will be an opportunity cost if I had not taken the decision of leaving the corporate world as per my feel.

The above-circumstance allows me to be flexible in my approach. I can reduce the expenses when possible. It is possible for me to reduce the expense if I have to adopt such measure. The most important thing is to adopt minimalism and I believe that this will allow me to handle the uncertain events which arise in the future going forward.  This also applies to taking some part-time employment on my own term and condition. It does not harm if I were to generate some form of income from such employment. I could have opted for the private-car driving and take up some tuition assignments. The options are plentiful.
