Life Fragility

Life is very fragile. Some people pass away before they enjoy the fruit of labour. This is especially after retirement. One will have to analyse whether it is worthwhile to work until the official retirement age.  I have heard news of such nature. It is very demoralising news. I guess that one will have to reassess the priority on how to go about his/her life taking consideration of such tragile example.

What is the meaning if one has a short lifespan? This strengthens the need for one to consider taking the leap into the FIRE after it is assessed that one has the sufficient investment portfolio to last for the lifetime. I believe that this is the way of making the best use of the current situation and resources in which one has at the prevailing point of time.

One has no control on how long he/she lives for long in this world. The best approach is to make the full use of the present moment.
