Impact Of Early Retirement

I read with interest on one blogger which mentions of the real issue in retirement and how to deal with such issues.

One needs to be healthy to retire well. I totally agree with such issue. It is common that one will be likely to be ill if he/she follows on the usual retirement age of 60 plus. This is one of the reasons why it will be more appropriate for one to retire in his/her 30s/40s in order to take the full advantage of being having a great retirement while one is in his/her prime of health. This is albeit of the few circumstances in which some individuals may be ill in these age categories. The blogger mentions on the need to develop good social relationship to retire well. I have differing views on such aspect. It takes two to clap. If one is willing to work towards the goal and the other having the different approach, the relationship will not work. One will try his/her best to maintain the good social relationship. However, the outcome might be beyond of one’s control.

The blogger mentions on the need for one to reinvent the personal identity to retire well. This requires the need for one to explain the rationale of early retirement to others. I do not see the need of making the explanation of early retirement to others. This is my personal decision and there is no need for me to make such explanation.  I do not owe the survival for others in respect of my decision to achieve FIRE.
