During the full-time employment, promotion is one of the situation in which one will encounter in the course of such journey. There will be disappointment in which one may not be promoted out of the surprise. I believe that this is the normal way of life. I had encountered such circumstance. However, I was not disappointed. I knew that I had the alternative of promotion. I changed job and would get the significant increment in the remunerations. This is even better than the normal promotion within one’s organisation.
In my opinion, the increment of remuneration will be lesser through the internal promotion. The organisation will not make the significant remuneration increment for the existing employees. It will be more worthwhile changing the organisation once every two years rather than slogging one’s life for the same organisation. I maintained such attitude and managed to change three organisation in the full-time employment. I understand that it will be hard to change job once every two years as per my perspective. I have seen people managing to do so in such way. Did I compare with them? The answer was no.
